Conference Twitter Account

Ok - so hopefully you've all registered for CUE 2008. The BIG question is: how many of you checked the new box that read "Yes, please send conference-related txt msgs to my cell phone: ____ - _____ - ______"?

If you did - you're in for a treat - you'll be privy to any conference-related updates, changes, last minute 'tweets' from conference leaders during the three weeks before during and following the CUE Conference. If you haven't registered - be sure to check the box and give us your mobile #.

In the meantime - we here at CUE would love to hear about the types of information you'd like to get on your phone from us! Share your thoughts!

If we didn't put in our phone number at registration, is there any way to do it after registration is complete?

What if I'd prefer just to get tweets at my IM?I don't have unlimited txt messaging, and teaching is not conducive to getting txt msgs on my cell. Do you have a twitter account for me to "follow"?

Thanks for the comment - we figured that attendees wouldn't be teaching when we sent this out. If you are looking for a feed to follow - I'd suggest the CUE news feed here: http://www.cue.org/xml/rss.xml

Mike, are you only going to send out tweets once the program begins? If so, I'll sign up for that. Also, some people are arriving Friday, or just Saturday, so they may want to start the tweet notifications as they arrive. Will it snow the CUE office under to be adding folks like that?

Yep - other than a test this weekend, the plan is to send 2-3 out per conference day, excluding emergencies...

Cool - to sign up, head over to the Teleparent booths (#537, 539)- they are powering this tool for us. And yes- folks can sign up when they arrive, on the fly. Just have them head over to the Teleparent booths to sign up.
