C_Gamer: Creating Games advancing media and education research

Saturday, 8:00 a.m. Session 5, Andreas; Renaissance

I want to thank all the enthusiastic attendees at this session. I am uploading the session keynote in a variety of forms, as well as some additional documents such as the boards, design documents, etc. If there is sufficient interest, I can re-record as a podcast over the slides. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff Brain

Jeff,
Thank you for both an engaging presentation on Saturday morning and the valuable resources you posted. I left your presentation with my head full of ideas for next school year. I want to restructure my Alice and Blender classes to become the prerequisite classes for a capstone class of game theory and design. Thanks again for helping Sycamore Canyon Middle School, in Newbury Park, CA, provide a stronger technology program to its students next year.

Best regards,

Rich Bateman

Likewise, Jeff, what a fascinating mind-expanding presentation. I'm not in a position to put anything directly into use right now, but you've certainly got me thinking in new ways. Many thanks. I've tweeted folks over here to pick up some of these wonderful resources.
Cheers, Fred

Thanks for all your positive support, Fred.

I just read a new post in the Teaching Game Design blog that will interest people on this forum.

Ian Schreiber talks about game jams in the classroom: rapid prototyping games. Very cool.
