Using Technology to add engagement and inquiry to SES Tutoring Session 2235 (9:30 a.m.)

Session Description: Running an SES (Supplemental Education Services) program? Is your program mired in worksheets and teaching to the test? Technology can help take students interest, and learning to the next level.

Howdy! I will be assisted in this presentation by Adina Sullivan. Both of us teach at school that are or were in Program Improvement. This session is for educator and administrators at schools that need to do standards based small group interventions (especially extended-day sessions), with students that are below grade level.

The session planner is here: http://mizmercer.wikispaces.com/CUE2009SESTutoring. It is still a work in progress and will likely be changing and evolving as time goes on. If you have a particular interest, drop a line. I can't guarantee anything, but I will sincerely try to cover it in the session, or find you resources to help.

Looking forward to seeing you!
