I just finished a digital story with 2nd graders on the book The Drinking Gourd. The students drew pictures of their portion of the story in Paint. Then we used Movie Maker to combine them all into one movie and each child narrated their picture. They retold the story in their own words and with their own illustrations. It came out great!
Today I am starting to work with 5th graders on a Colonial project where we will use a green screen to video the children doing activities back in the 1700's. The students will do the filming, editing and acting. It is my first time trying something this grand, wish me luck.

Greetings Everyone: I am looking for teachers and students that might want to publish video productions on Kid's Talk Radio, PNN News and Teen TV. All of these services are free to schools and available right now. Take a look for yourself: http://KidsTalkRadio.pnn.com.
