During the CUE conference, job security was on the minds of many fellow technology leaders. Program cuts, people getting cut— you name it! Buying a new software program or a service solution will only work if there is someone there to implement the program —to lead the process.

The questions that I present is...what can be done?

CUE Conference!

What an event! I can't tell you how inspired I was this year by the whole event. Given the conditions of education with budgets and other matters, CUE was a breath of fresh air.

Here is what CUE does for me:
Allows me to connect with others.
Energizes my batteries
Inspires ME to Inspire OTHERS.
Exposes me to new tools (Yeah for "The CUE Community").
and gives me that "pat on the back"that we all need in educational technology from time to time.

I think we can all say that this year's CUE deliv… Continue

Antwon, Good to hear from you. Thanks for writing. I am holding on at the Krause Center for Innovation with two hands and two feet. Hope is evident. Encouragement comes from many people who are inside and outside the organization. I'll see you at CUE. In between, enjoy a Merry Christmas. -Steve

Dear Antwon,
I loved reading your book. Besides relating to it so well, I also felt that you so logically presented all the steps required in decision making. Those steps apply to far more than just software purchases. Your presentation would be well suited for administrators and tech leaders.
When my friend asked what I brought away from the conference, I said that I was most challenged by how to build and empower leaders rather than dependents. Thank you for that challenge.

I wish we had a chance to meet. I was the guy with the short dread locs pushing my friend Doug Prouty in the wheelchair. He spoke to me about you and you and I waved in the hotel lobby. Hope to see meet at a future CUE.

Wow! What a great resource for all interested in enhancing education through technology (EETT). I applaud CUE for the direction toward creating a community beyond the conference. I will do my part to contribute to the community.

Thanks

Antwon
