Diana,

Thanks for the CTAP Region V flyers you gave me at the CUE Innovative Learning conference this week. I'm glad some workshops are coming to Santa Cruz. I've signed up for three of them! I'll pass the word. I'm also trying to think of ways to get the word out in Santa Cruz.

Diana thank you for writing. It was a pleasure in meeting you as well. Doug always introduced me to wonderful people such as yourself. He thought highly about many of you. He always talked about the history of each person he would introduce me to. I do not think I am going to make it to the memory service. Flight is expensive plus I am just starting to get over the lost and do not want to start down that road right now. It was an emotional 3 days together (especially the last night) and that was my farewell to Doug. I hope everyone can understand.

Oh BTW, CUE was a blast as always. Hope to see you in 2009.

Mike

Hi Diana!

I really wish I could be at CUE this year! However I will at a CCIS (California Consortium for Independent Study) conference in Monterey soon after the CUE dates. It has gotten harder for me to get away from my school site for conferences over the past couple of years. I am glad to hear that CUE will come back to Northern California next year.

Say hi to everyone for me!

Great to hear from you,
Tonie O
