I do remember! That was fun. I would love to do it again. Let me know if you are in San Diego any time. Perhaps you could be one of the people who provide my student some feedback once she develops the curriculum based on your book. She is doing a project that is curriculum development for her grade level integrating project based learning and technology.

Hi Jane,
Love your book! It was so nice to be able to talk with you at CUE. One of my students is basing her thesis work on your book. Very inspiring ;)

Cute poochie in the pic! Once I figure out how to post pics on here, I'll have to show my daughters' Kee-Ko, she could almost pass as a twin!

Have you seen the student email and blog products chosen for the XO -- from ePals? They're free and used worldwide in 200 countries by about 13 million students and teachers. They also have a classroom project match that enables global project-based learning, about 12 years old. The company was profiled in the New York Times on 2/24/08 and in 2000 as the first email system with embedded translation features. Lesson plans using the email, blog and global community are part of the ISTE NETS book and also in Intel sample lesson plans. The blog got "best blog for education" from Technology & Learning magazine. Ferdi suggested I share this info with you. Cheers, Rita

Jane, I'm thinking of writing XOs into a grant for 4th and 5th graders. Do you know if there would be CIPA/COPA issues?

Certainly looking forward to that! Are you there Wednesday night?
