Irene Griffis and I are investigating Moodle for our classes. It's kind of like Blackboard, but it's free. You can set up students, assignments, grades, etc... You can use this free site: http://www.k12hsn.org/calaxy/blogs.php/calaxy/2009/04/01/t...

Technology is my profession and my passion. It's great to be part of a community that appreciates the power of technology, especially its use in education. The CUE Conference has gotten better and better each year. Where else can educators meet and exchange information and ideas...ok I just answered my own question...The CUE Community website!! But there's nothing like an opportunity to meet, speak with, listen to such inspiring figures in the field of educational technology as Vinton Cerf and all the wonderful presenters at CUE.

Hey Pape.

Can you start a blog in our NOTE community along the lines of cool CUE sessions?

Hi Kathleen,

With your passion in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Yes and yes to your ePals questions. It would be great if you used it with your class. Let me know. The training is free.

Haha, and I thought holding what might appear to be an adult beverage in my hand in profile pic could present a problem, I didn't know being active had a downside to meeting new friends.

Would be happy to share more on the project and get your thoughts...do you have a Facebook page? If so, add me up there: Geof Lambert

Well I'll be hosting Vint during his stay here during that time. Vint and I both are a part of the global IPv6 Forum, and the North American IPv6 Task Force, so would be happy to meet with you during that time if you can make it up here that week. Also, as a footnote, I am involved with a new project pertaining to education and technology that you just might be interested in hearing more about.
