Hi Katie,
I thought I should let you know that we talked to the education rep at Crazy Talk and he said if we bought 200 licenses, we could get them at $20 a piece. So, we bought them and sold them to all the teachers that wanted the program. It was pretty easy to find 200 that wanted to use Crazy Talk, Teachers had to buy it with their own money of course. But, because it was only 20, many bought it for their classroom and home computers.
Hope this helps,
LInda
I LOVE your blog! We're still in Chicago for our daughter's graduation from Wheaton. The ceremony was on Sunday, though we attended many other events from Friday through Sunday. It was a lot of fun, but hard to watch so many good-byes. We are thrilled that we cleaned the apt so well the manager gave us our full 1300.00 deposit! Whew! We needed some of it to ship four years of college home and that was after she had to part with a lot of items we just couldn't ship! Pretty wild.
Now she is off to Europe with two friends. They each took ONLY a small school backpack for the three weeks. Yikes.
We'll have to get together. I always love to see you. Here is a link to a cute movie some of my first graders made with Crazy Talk and Pinnacle: (oops, I don't have the new copy online yet. I'll have to do that when I get back!)
Here's a video they made to teach others to use Crazy Talk: http://www.powayusd.com/projects/edtechcentral/VideoEditing/Megan/CrazyTalkHowTo.htm
