I never got to personally thank you for coming to our SVCUE local conference in February. It's hard for many of our local members to get to the Palm Springs CUE, so I think it helped our members feel a little more connected to "Mother CUE"! I wanted to let you know that I just had my first peer-reviewed journal article come out in the online journal, Innovate. The article discusses research I conducted to develop my new theory of learning (SCCS), as well as a new instructional design model. It's been five years in the making, and feels a lot like giving birth to have the article come out! CUE has played a significant role, socially as well as cognitively, in helping me develop this theory for 21st century learners. I would love to get your feedback on the article - there is a place online to add comments. You can log in at http://innovateonline.info/?view=issue. The journal is also hosting a webcast for people to dialog about the article on April 22 at 9 pm Pacific Time, if you have an opportunity to drop in and join us. Thanks for all of the hard work you do for educators and students in California.

Hi Mike,
I met you weekend at the SGVCUE Tech Fair, in the lunch line. I now realize you were the key note speaker last year. Just wanted to say thanks for the idea of using the Did You Know? slide show. I used it in a similar version in parent presentation I did last month and I got a positive response. Anyway, it was nice to meet you look forward to working with SGVCUE in the future.

I see she added you as a friend. I am 21 and live in Red Deer AB, Canada. I have lost touch with her about 8 years ago and I googled her and her name came up under this site. She is new to this site and you were the only friend she had on here as of now. So i hope you dont mind me asking. Last I heard she lived in Calgary AB, Canada. If you know her that would be awesome, if not I am sorry for bothering you.
