You may want to move this to the 2010 discussion forum...it's currently in the 2009 forum. Good session, by the way.

Hey Rushton,
We will have to meet up at TechEd--I'll be there with with my University collegues but they are a lot of fun.

I am SO sad that we basically only waved to each other at CUE. Where were you hiding, young man?!?!

Morning Rushton!

Life is good in Idaho. It's a bit windy right now and there's talks of more snow. YES! Welcome to spring in Idaho.

How goes life in the Silicon Valley? Nice to see you at CUE! I'm sure you're off to some exotic place right now; right?

Take care,

Kevin

Hi Rushton,

With your work in Ed Tech at Next Vista, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Not sure if you remember me but we met on Sat. morning before my friend gave you a ride to the convention center. I took some more time to go through the CUE Program Conference Guide, to see what I missed, and saw your name plastered all through it. I saw that you taught some courses about digital video. I really wished now that I would have attended something. I would love to hear some of your thoughts on digital Videos and how they can and should be used in an elementary classroom. Thanks and great to meet you.

Hi, I greatly enjoyed your presentation at the William Floyd High School. You mentioned a site that we could search preexisting power points but I didn't catch the address or name of the site. You also mentioned that if we are using the web as a tool to only look things up, we are missing the point. Please let me know what else you are referring to. The schools have limited options with regards to the internet so searching and sharing become more difficult than you can imagine. I appreciate your point of view because it will help us to open up the internet to be used more thoroughly.

As a librarian I am obliged to tell you that the reference page from the Power Point presentation you showed was all wrong.
Go to the following page for an example of a source page that was done correctly http://alex.state.al.us/uploads/13016/Arthur%20intro.ppt#265,10,Slide 10

Actually, no. My brother is going to be at the Pentagon. I am unsure if I want to be on the east coast, but will keep you posted. I miss you. Please tell Tabitha and the cats - "hello!"
