I can't wait to see you!
This session will be informative and fun. I will share many of my successful instructional strategies and practical solutions to roadblocks for creating videos with your students. So good to hear from you! I am on loan to the Los Angeles County Office of Ed, training administrators and filling in for a few teacher academies. Look forward to seeing you as well.
There is no CUE sandbox in SL (yet) but there is one on EduIsland II and many others open to anyone. Try there first.
Before anything else, go to http://www.secondlife.com sign up for a free account and create an avatar. It will take you awhile at first, but once you get the hang of moving around a little, go to the search tab at the bottom of your screen. That will open another window click on the "places" tab there and type in ISTE Island, it will be the first item on the list. Select teleport and go there first. There will be other educators there ready and willing to help. I am on docent duty every Tue from 4-5pm and Sat.3-4pm. Goodluck!
