Greetings from Japan! Was watching snow fall in sheets from the window of my Okayama hotel room earlier today. Brrr.
There is no all-purpose 'hello', but in the morning, 'o-ha-yoh', during the day, 'ko-nee-chee-wa', and in the evening, 'ko-n-ba-n-wa' ('n' a bit like 'ng') will do you right. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll add such things as 'Where is the bathroom?', 'The sushi looks delicious', or even take a stab at 'President Bush just threw up in my lap.' (old school on that joke)

Hey Rushton!
You are really going to have to tell me how to say hello in Japanese but written in English. Just discovered the CUE ning site today!

Thx Rushton. Yep - we now have a full basketball team! Right now we're just teaching Quinn the basic cross over "dribble", but we hope to have him slam dunking in a few weeks.
